Welcome to The Farmers’ Eight Daughters! |
|
We have been baking and growing things for 30+ years. We opened our family business in 2007. We were members of the Lakes Region Farmers Market in Windham for two seasons, but decided to start something even more local to us. What could be more local than a farm stand on your own front lawn!
We feature home made from scratch and home grown products. We like to support other businesses who have the same mission as us, supporting local agriculture. That’s why we use organic whole wheat flour & oatmeal grown right here in Maine, as well as local Maine eggs, salt, butter, milk, fruit and anything else we can get our hands on from this great state.
Some of the things we typically carry (in season) are as follows:
Baked Goods Berries Bouquets Vegetable Seedlings Breads Cards Fresh Eggs Handmade Soaps Fresh Herbs Houseplants Produce Assorted Maine Products
Currently, The Farmers’ Eight Daughters organic produce and other items are being sold at their farm stand at 28 Intervale Road (Route 231), New Gloucester. Ask about our CSA for 2009!
Our baked items are also sold at the Pineland Market in New Gloucester year round.
We encourage special orders! See contact info. on back. |
